Students will create a fantasy character, define their backstory and strengths, and take them on an adventure in a fantasy world!
Students will exercise their basic literacy, math, and critical thinking skills as they work with others on their team to explore and solve problems in a fantasy adventure setting during safe, structured social gaming sessions.
GM Jack has played thousands of hours with almost 100 first-time TTRPG players! Rules are learned through play, No experience required to signup!
With the Shadowdark RPG system, we will use everything from 4 to 100-sided dice. Probability & Arithmetic reps abound!
Characters can only carry so much stuff! Players have to get creative to solve the problems they face, and balance risk and reward!
Players and gamemaster will all commit to telling a story together: safely, respectfully, and in a way that flexes all our imaginations.
Random dice rolls will determine much: from character statistics to treasure & more.
Improvisation skills will be tested, sharpened, and on full display!
Age-appropriate versions of classic and award-winning adventures will be woven into the 8-week campaign

Ever been curious about Dungeons and Dragons? This is the perfect time to jump in! Play with a local game master with thousands of hours of professional experience and take your first step into your new favorite hobby!
One door closes and another opens! Surviving characters (or brand new ones) can continue to adventure as additonal game dates are announced!
